here's one I've never heard before
The guy at the video store last night told me that I look like Toni Collette.
coworker: Oh, I love her. She's such a great actress.
me, to the original guy: I, on the other hand, am not.
coworker, looking at me: Yeah, I can totally see it.
Flattered, indeed. Not convinced, but flattered nonetheless.

I've gotten that before, too only instead of saying, "hey you remind me of Toni Colette" I got, "you look like that chic in "Muriel's Wedding" you know, the weird one."
I can see it in the eyes and the smile. Definitely.
