photographic evidence

The paper is done.

The paper is done and I actually kinda like it. Writing my way through the chaos of all the ideas I had about the connections between the personal essay and trauma worked. I came to a point that I'm pretty proud of, and I may actually do something with this beyond Watson.

But for now, I need a majorly large drink. This paper was born out of much pain and suffering. And nightmares. Ugly ones.

So cheers to me.

Oh, it looks good. Hoepfully, I'll be able to see you there; I think you're presenting in the session before me. I'm probably going to be working until I leave on Wednesday, dong a bit here and there. I've just about got the PowerPoint and handout done, and will be tweaking the speaking notes until the last minute. I'm excited, and it looks like a great conference.

Hi Amy,
It's Tanya--fellow former UMasser and current Syracuse PhD Comp/Rhet student. Remember me? Congrats on your paper. I'm wondering if it's being published anywhere or if it's a conference paper. Trauma studies is one of my areas of study and I'd be very interested in reading the paper and/or looking at your bib. Will you let me know? tkrodrig@syr.edu. Thanks! I look forward to hearing from you.
